    • Hi Eliza, my approach is a bit different. I don’t prevent them from eating these fruits. In fact, I feel happy to give them their share. ๐Ÿ™‚ Papayas are plenty here, and so far what I’ve seen is these birds never spoil all ripe fruits at the same time. They all share a maximum of one or two fruits. The rest they leave for us. In fact, the remaining fruits are all intact as of now. I checked today morning while watering the plants. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks AJ. Hope your friends like them. ๐Ÿ™‚ I am now waiting for the parrots. Normally they are here as soon as the papayas ripen, but so far they haven’t turned up. Two more papayas are almost ready now. I am plucking one. The other, will leave for the birdies. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. These photos are so beautiful. I don’t paint with watercolour very often, but these make me want to get out my paints. Thank you for inspiring me! -Jill

    • Thanks Radhika. That question is a bit tricky. I am not a professional photographer as I don’t do weddings, portfolio shoots, etc., but I have worked close to 3.5 years as a “concert photographer” (during my Mumbai days) shooting live bands. I don’t cover gigs anymore unless it’s a close friend’s band that’s playing. So if this can be categorized as “professional,โ€ then maybe I am a tiny one. ๐Ÿ™‚ Also I used to generate some money through print sales. Most of my customers were friends/relatives and an occasional random stranger who would come to know of my work through my friends/relatives. I never did any marketing. It was all word-of-mouth publicity. Hopefully this year if everything goes as planned, I should be able to open a small online shop selling prints and some random stuff. I am hoping it all works out. ๐Ÿ™‚
