Bicycle restoration project:
I wasn’t sure if this metal logo could be salvaged. The rivets were completely rusted and the metal plate looked as if it was fused to the bicycle frame. I didn’t even attempt to remove it coz I knew for a fact I had neither the skills nor the tool(s) to get the job done. Took the frame to Bigfoot Customs { Midhun’s garage ] coz I knew if there’s someone in my buddy list who could do it, and do it perfectly, understanding very well what it means to me, it would be him. And he did it! π Isn’t she beautiful? #happiness
Looks good! Are you going to try to restore with all original parts?

Thank you David. Restoring with original parts is what I’d love to do, but sadly it’s impossible to source any of those parts. So I am just trying to make it look something like a vintage commuter bike. π

That came out great! Can’t go wrong with a business named Bigfoot Customs!

Thanks. And yes Michele. It’s happening, albeit slowly. Finding components is quite tough especially since it’s an old bicycle. π
