098 - firewood stove

In an age where traditional firewood stoves are fast being replaced by microwave ovens and modern cooking ranges, this was a sight that brought tremendous happiness to my eyes. And goes without saying the food I had there tasted unbelievably delicious! 🙂

  6. A rare sight indeed and the food cooked in ‘chulas’ have a zing that no stove can replicate….but again thank God for the stoves and microwaves…… with our dwindling forest cover, I can’t imagine what would have happened….
