“New Ananda Bhavan Vegetarian Hotel & Family Restaurant” – a very old restaurant that existed once upon a time in Fort Kochi. If I had known while taking this photo that this place will be shutting down for ever, I would have definitely made it a point to visit them on a day they were open. Sadly that day is never going to come and I’d neither know the taste of their food nor what their interiors looked like. And that makes me a wee bit sad. : -/ No fancy signboard – rather a somewhat crude one with that imperfect, yet perfect, handwritten font; a beautiful tiled roof; and a shutter made out of some wooden planks for the entrance – simplicity at its best. And oh, thank you goats! : )
